Today is the day I feel we have been hearing about for two years. I think everyone is thankful it will soon be over, and we can all move on. However, the most important thing to remember today is not who you are voting for, but that you exercise your right to VOTE! If I didn’t go into the booth today and vote for someone I’m pretty sure my police officer, US Marshall, Korean War fighting, grandfather would strike me with a lightening bolt from heaven. I can hear him now. “I didn’t sit in a fox hole with 14 men for 3 days straight, with only two of us making it out. for you to not get off your butt and vote!” So today I will VOTE, and be proud that we live in a country where we can! I loved this quote on the Soul and Honey shirt, and felt it so appropriate for today. Reagan said it best, “America is too great for small dreams!”
