BATB Day 2: Belle Inspired Yellow Dress

I think there is something totally romantic about lace. I typically prefer one with a thicker texture like this yellow dress has. Because I’m short, typically midi dresses make me look like a nugget. The  simple cut of this one, and the illusion skirt stopping mid thigh, I think helps it work.

I added a simple nude shoe to balance the dress. My cuffs are from the Insect Diva. Her pieces are so unique and inventive. She uses real flowers, and insects in some of them. My cuff has real baby red roses in it!!!! My ring is from McKinney Wares. It is hand wrapped wire made to look like a rose!

My purse was one of my first purchases, and the inspiration behind my week of BATB! I thought it was such a fun piece, and perfect for any Disney lover. I try not to take my fashion too seriously. I like it to be more fun then anything, and I also like wearing things that make me happy. What could be more fun then a Disney character made into a purse!
