I think everyone’s version of their “wild side” is very different. I’ve never been one to really get wild and crazy…. well there might have been a few nights in college ;), but for the most part my definition of wild is highlighting my hair a different way, or taking a trip to somewhere I’ve never been. Now, my husband Cannon, on the other hand, wellllll thats a different story! If it goes fast, or he can jump off of it, shoot it, or light it on fire; chances are he is going to give it a go. I like to think we balance each other out, ha!
Artist Niki Pilkington has partnered with Sakroots, and created a new print for their spring line featuring “wild life” images in amazing bright summer colors! Sakroots is a gallery of colorful & original art featured on bags, shoes, tech, wristlets & wallets, travel, stationery, home and jewelry appealing to the artist, musician and nature lover in all of us. Each collection features original artwork from their Sakroots artist circle gallery of prints, and textured embellishments such as crochet accents and studding, giving the collections a relaxed vibe, and tying back to the brand’s heritage rich in texture.
In the spirit of these images created by illustrator Niki Pilkington I am asking my readers to “Show me your Wildlife!” for a chance to win one of their new pieces. I have linked her entire line of Wildlife pieces here in case you want to check out what you can choose from!
