I can’t believe we are almost at the end of May! This year has flown by, and I’m not going to lie, I am really looking forward to summer. Memorial is always the giant kick off of watermelons, bbq, bathing suits, fire crackers, and all things fun in the sun.
When I was little we had a party at our country club pool on Memorial Day to kick off the pool being open for the summer. We would stay all day, swim, and play games. My favorite game was the one where they would toss hundreds of beer cans in the pool and the kid who brought their dad the most cans on the side of the pool got a prize! Looking back that was a genius game! Memorial Day at Chickasaw Country Club is definitley one of those childhood memories you look back on and think, wow that was the life… hot dogs, and staying in the pool until you were wrinkly.
I have several really fun upcoming travel plans this summer, and I can’t wait to share them all with you. My beach bag is so cute. The letters are sparkly, and it comes in three different phrases, (Sun Sand Cocktail in Hand, and Eat Sleep Beach Repeat) My sunglasses are $55, and they are my new favorite brand. My hat is under $18 and they have two sizes (s/m and m/l). I have linked all my outfit details!
