Taking your affordable Memorial Day look from Day to Night

I’m all about some affordable fashion. I do NOT believe that something has to be expensive to be fabulous. Nor do I believe that all expensive things are fab. I am a big fan of investing in a few designer staple items, and mixing in lower trendy fashion items to spark your outfit. Both of my bags in this post I would consider staple items. My saddle bag is BCBG I’ve had it for two seasons, and still love it. I’ve linked several ones that are very similar. My leather tote is from my sweet friends at Frill Seekers Gifts in Destin, FL. It’s been a great work bag, and I love the contemporary monogram. (linked here).

I think by simply changing my bag this outfit can transition nicely from day to night. If you want to take it down a notch during the day, you could pair it with some flats, or sandals to give it even a more casual look. I’ve linked several pair that I think would compliment it. You could also add more simple jewelry during the day and have your night time baubles ready to go to switch, in your bag! I’ve linked my outfit details below!
