Favorite Running Shoes

As some of you know who follow my insta stories, I have been attempting to do a running app. I say attempt because with the large amount of travel I’ve done in September and October, it has been difficult to be consistent.

I’m getting back on the horse this week though. I like a fresh start, so I’m going to go back to the beginning and kick this thing off the right way.

I’ve decided travel is no excuse. There is pavement, or a gym, in or around every hotel I stay at… so here we go. I’m going to do a internal competition with myself. The challenge will be to stick to my weekly app from beginning to the end. I will be updating you guys on my progress. Maybe you can run along with me 😉

Obviously, knowing I will be picking up the pace a little; I wanted to make sure I was equipped with a great pair of running shoes. I asked a friend who has done several marathons for recommendations and she gave me some great advice. Here is what she had to say,

“The Nike Pegasus are the most comfortable sneakers I’ve used that allow you to knock out a lot of miles (training + 13 miles) Definitely my #1 recommendation, and go-to for workouts too!

My boss runs marathons in the New Balance 860’s, she raves about the support and comfort for all 26.1 miles:

I’ve completed 5K’s in the Nike Lunar Glide and the Asics!”

I personally am a Nike girl, so I tried to Nike Lunar Glide, and they did not disappoint. They are by far the most comfortable tennis shoes I have ever owned. They are stable, sturdy, and yet at the same time breathable and flexible. I feel like I get great support while running for my joints. They seem to hold up well so far. They have even become my general travel shoe.

I’ve linked my favorite socks as well. I think they play a factor in your comfort during walks and runs as well!

Lets get moving!!
