I am absolutely loving that chenille is the fabric of fall. It throws me back to my Limited Too and Clueless days. Any kids of the 90’s out there who know what I’m saying?? For some reason, every time I throw on chenille, I feel like I’m back in 4th grade slow dancing, hands on hips style, to some Miriah Carrey song.
I honestly can’t believe we are officially in November. It’s time to put up our Halloween costumes up, and start prepping our turkeys for Thanksgiving.
Over the next month I am going to share with you some outfit ideas on how to dress up, or dress down, your turkey day #ootd. I’m kicking it off with a casual fall inspired look from Marks and Spencer
If you think you will be cooking in the kitchen, then maybe playing a little flag football in the back yard (or at least this is what usually happens in my house ha!) then I would dress down a little. This sweater look from Marks and Spencer would be a great casual holiday look. I dressed it up slightly because my boots have a heel, but you could easily wear flat boots to make it even more casual.
My chenille sweater is a golden mustard color, and I love the side slits. You can shop it here
My scarf has awesome tassel details. Its a great lunch. Not too long. I double wrapped it to give it that infinity look. You can shop it here
My boots might be my favorite part of my outfit. I love that they have a work boot feel, but have a heel. The red laces give them a nice pop. They have a side zipper, which makes them easy to get on and off. The sides are UK so make sure you translate that over to US. I am a 7.5 and I ordered a 5.5. They fit perfectly, and are very comfortable! You can shop my boots here.
It’s Turkey Time!
