Being able to sit down and relax with these girls over a nice meal was such a treat! I think the thing I’m thankful for at FriendsGiving is, wait for it… time with my friends.
These girls have been a great source of community for me over the past few years. We are lucky to have each other. To celebrate our accomplishments over the last year, and honestly just take a break to hang, we put together a really fun FriendsGiving that was just the right amount of turkey, and wine 😉
I’m here to tell you that Mary Conley can cooooookkkkkk. Girl made that turkey all by herself. I was so impressed. And then she went and made a pie from scratch. Ask me what I made, rolls, and “make” is a stretch because really I just heated them up, ha! Alex brought rice, and Megan brought the corn. We all helped set the table, lit the candles, and popped the cork on some red wine. Four hours later, Alex, Mary, Megan, Mary Kate and I were still chatting, laughing and digging in for seconds. Laughter with your girlfriends is just good for the soul!
Don’t skip out on FriendsGiving this year. Make some time for those people that mean the most to you. Sit down with them and be thankful they are in your life!
BIG thanks to our vendors!
Beautiful Soul Boutique for providing our outfits.
Millstone Market and Nursery for providing our amazing center piece at the end of the table.
Mary Kate Steel for her photography skills.
Happy Early Turkey Day!
