I have to admit. I’ve been coming to Disney World as long as I can remember. However, I have never participated in the Move it! Shake it! Dance and Play it! Parade, and it was worth every second of waiting on the curb in the sun for it! It is a non traditional parade in the sense that you don’t sit and watch floats go by. The floats circle in front of the castle, stop, and you interact with the parade floats and characters. I love that it encourages guests to get up, and get moving! 
Move it! Shake it! Dance and Play it! Parade happens a few times a day in the Magic Kingdom, and no matter what age you are it is a don’t miss attraction. In my opinion this little 35 minute activity is a great way to get out there with your friends or kids, and make your self feel little magic. Heck I even had Alex, of City Chic Living, who is 7 months prego out there shaking her tail feathers!!

Here are a few facts you will want to know!
-Parade is 35 minutes long.
-It happens several times during the day. Make sure you check your Times Guide to get accurate show times.
-There are 5 different floats that drive out and circle the hub. These present shaped floats are bright, fun, and inviting. There are also TV’s on each float shaped as gift tags. You can take pics during the parade and use the hashtag #MoveitShakeitPics for a chance to have your picture featured on the gift tag!
-At the end of the parade the host will ask you to choose from three songs for the final dance. The song that gets the most cheers will win, and be the dance exit song. Our song was Justin Timberlake’s “Cant Stop the Feeling.” Only seemed fitting to bring a little Memphis to the Magic Kingdom!! 😉
My black buckled slides are water proof, basically like walking on air, and under $20!!!
My skirt black jean skirt is on sale and under $18; seems unreal because its well made and a great fit. It is a little high waisted but not so much that you feel like you don’t have a stomach. It has a slight a line cut. Which is great for girls like me with a little more junk in the trunk ;).
Mine and Alex T’s are from Once Upon a Mickey Tee (love their creator Katie, she is the best!!) and say “I’ll take an Iced Latte, with an extra side of Magic!” I’ve linked them here! Pretty much how I feel at the start of every day ha!
